The wedding will take place at the Leach Botanical Garden in Southeast Portland. Close family and friends are welcome. The ceremony starts at 5 P.M., with an informal reception afterwards. Assistance with setup and cleanup will be appreciated in lieu of gifts. After-party details will follow as they develop.
There are fifteen acres of garden, woods and creek to explore, with both paved and unpaved trails. The area around the house is perfectly civilized, but the garden gets more rustic the farther out you go. You won’t need hiking boots, but you’ll probably have more fun with practical shoes. Dress is wedding casual in your own style. Children are welcome.
We’ll be hanging out and hosting an informal BBQ at our house, in historic Sellwood, the following day (Sunday). Feel free to drop by whenever you like that afternoon, if you can make it. We’re expecting to be frantic before and during the actual wedding, so please come by and catch up with us in our natural habitat.

We don't expect that many of our out-of-town family will be able to make the trip this far west. For those of you who have other obligations, don't worry. We love you and we'll see you soon. Details will follow on post-wedding travel plans to the east coast.
