One of my musings as I've hiked the Oregon trails was a wish to be able to share the special hollows I stumble onto with my friends and family. I just couldn't figure how I'd get the lot of you 5 miles up a ridge trail! I'm more myself when I'm with my family and I feel free and childlike when I'm in the woods. I'm really happy we've found a special place in the forest for a rite of passage with my family. I know it's far away for most of you, and I wish I could bring Oregon to you. I hope you can come and stand by me to witness my partnership. If not, no worries, I'll bring the boy home soon.
